A lot of patients come to Concept Dental with questions about their oral health and options for treatments. Szilard Zombor, Dr. Berry, and our team strongly believe in the importance of patient education, which is why we have provided the following list of common questions and their respective answers:
How long does a tooth repair take?
Repairs can usually be completed within an hour. However, the process may take longer if any metal parts have been broken.
Do you accept emergency patients?
Absolutely! We will do our best to assist you with your situation.
What is the difference between oral sedation and IV sedation?
The difference between oral and IV sedation is the way the medication is administered. With oral sedation, the sedative is taken by mouth about an hour before the dental appointment. With IV sedation, the medication is administered directly into the bloodstream through a catheter and takes effect almost immediately.
Which Type of Sedation is better for me?
We will carefully review your medical/dental history and after a thorough dental exam, we will be able to recommend which type of sedation will be the safest, most effective method of sedation for you.
Does my driver have to be in the office during my appointment if I am sedated?
Your driver does not need to be present. However, we request that we have your driver’s phone number so that we can call them to pick you up.
Can my existing dentures be used if I have implants placed?
Typically, yes. However, it depends on how well they fit and what condition they are in.
Am I a candidate for implants?
We need to take an X-ray to evaluate your bone levels and to review your health history.
How long does it take to get a set of dentures made?
If you need a replacement set, the custom fitting process is complete in three to five weeks. If you need surgery, the process takes about two weeks. We also have the capability to make dentures in 24 to 48 hours in an emergency. Please call our office to inquire about this special “RUSH” service.
I have terrible dental anxiety. Would you be able to help me?
Most definitely. We will try our best. We are very experienced at meeting patients at their needs, whatever level it may be.
What financing plans do you offer?
We have financing available through CareCredit. Please call us for more information or click below to apply for CareCredit. Otherwise, payments are due on the date services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made.
